We are a family owned business with over 36 years of experience. Our business is fully insured, and our products are covered by manufacturer’s warranties ranging from 25 years to limited lifetime.
Allan started up his company in 1980 just one year before his second child was born with his third child in the following year. Allan is a husband and father to four children and a grandfather to 6.
David is Allan’s eldest child and has been working with his father, Allan, for over 25 years. He has a loving wife and two bright and eager teenagers.
Stephanie is Allan’s second youngest child and is excited to join the team after leaving University, having a career in Toronto and then moving back to Waterloo Region with her husband and two young children.

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR A ROOFER
What do Roofers do?
Roofers typically replace, repair and install the roofs of building.
Setting up scaffolding to provide safe access to roofs.
Inspect roofs, or around chimneys, skylights, vents or other roof structures for problems and determine the best repair procedures.
Clean and maintain equipment.
Create estimates which include measuring and calculating materials needed.
Protect and clean work area around the property to prevent damage.
Interacting with the client and providing feedback.
Depending on your experience you may be interested in performing one or many of these additional roles.
Roofing work can be hot and physically demanding. It often involves climbing and bending and many times heavy lifting.
What are Some of the Work Activities You Can Expect?
Performing general physical activities.
Observing, collecting and receiving information.
Handling and moving objects.
Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials.
Using basic carpentry techniques.
Operating vehicles, mechanized devices, or equipment.
What is a Typical Work Schedule?
Like many construction workers, most roofers work full time during the Spring, Summer, and Fall and limited hours during the Winter. Allan Beach Roofing does operate all year long which provides the opportunity for some labourers to keep working during these months. Also like many construction workers, work is reduced during specific weather conditions such as rain, hail, and heavy wind and snow.
Monday – Friday usually 8-9 hours a day but some days can extend to 10 if a specific roof needs to be completed.
Requires certain safety training for each job. We are currently looking for roofers. Contact us for details.

If you see any defects or your roof starts to leak, contact us immediately.
We offer a 25 year or limited lifetime warranty on the shingles.
