WILL THE ROOF GUTTERS AND DOWNSPOUTS BE AFFECTED?

Our skilled workers do our best to treat every roof as it is our own. When we replace a roof we do typically clean out your gutters to insure that we have not left anything that may clog them. This means your gutters get a good clean for FREE. Sometimes gutters and downspouts are starting to rust or are not connected properly and issues do arise but if this happens we will take the time to discuss with your options.

We do not typically repair gutters; however, if issues happen while we are replacing your roof we will explore the best options for you.

HOW CAN I ENSURE THAT I NEVER HAVE ROOF PROBLEMS AGAIN?

Your roof will start aging as soon as it is installed just like everything else that is exposed to our weather. Things like rain, wind, sun, and trees all impact your roof. However, by being vigilant of your roof and looking for signs you may be able to catch potential issues before they come serious problems. Read the above question “What are signs that I need to hire a roofer” for a list of signs to look for.

Cleaning your gutters, removing debris from your roof (such as piles of leaves, or branches), and cutting back trees that overhang your roof will help give your roof a longer life. Please remember, SAFETY FIRST! If your roof is too steep, or there is any chance of ice, you should consider hiring the right people to complete any jobs you do not feel comfortable completing yourself.

  • Inspect your roof and gutters regularly, so that as soon as you notice small issues, you can fix them before they become major problems.
  • Remove loose debris.
  • Cleaning your gutters.
  • Be wary of surrounding trees. Cut off the branches that are within the vicinity of your roof.
CAN I STAY AT HOME WHILE THE ROOF IS GETTING REPAIRED?

Yes, you can stay inside while we work on your roof. However, we will probably be making a lot of noise, so if that bothers you, then feel free to go somewhere else for a few hours. If something comes up, we’ll make sure to contact you.
